Grandote Peaks is located La Veta, 15mi west of Walsenburg in southern central Colorado. A
Weiskopf/Morrish design that has a more old school flavor w/ narrow fariways and small greens,
very similar to a lot of golf courses that were designed and developed during the first half of the
20th century, making it a premium on approach shots. There is a nearby ski area, Cuchara
which is now defunct, that can be seen in some of these pics.
