These pics were taken this year and what change to the landscape!  What was once a tight, tree lined course
is considerably more open with all the clearing that was done this year.  Mainly due the a specific species of
beetle that literally destroys the pine trees, the only solution is to cut and remove trees that either are infected
or completely dead.  Sadly, the course looks like it experience what was the Tunguska Event of 1908 and will
be decades before this course will approach it's past glory.  The person joining me is Paul Weber, a fellow
coworker at IBM.  He, his wife and two children have a cabin less than 5 min. from the course which they often
stay durning the summer months.
